Erläuterungen

The case of Openreach and BT Dave Simpson, Head of Regulatory Affairs of the british ISP Easynet and Board member of ISPA UK, will present us the thinking and experience of the UK ISPs about the recent separation of Openreach from BT

In his presentation he will cover questions like: What are the experiences of the ISPs with Openreach? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Could alternative ISPs profit out of it? Who profits out of it? Is non-discrimination at the network access level really working? What role did the regulator (ofcom) play? What influence does it have on the retail market - on prices? Is it now better than before? and so on....

All questions not covered by his presentation, can be asked at the discussion or afterwards at the buffet and drinks.
